One line is better than two!

Yesterday was a glorious day. It was a glorious day mainly because I tested negative on my COVID rapid tests. Not only did I test negative once, I took the test twice and both times came back negative. I've never been this happy to see one line on a test in my life.

I also called the health line, which is available for everyone 24/7. I had to ask to make sure if I'm still contagious or not to the baby. And the nurse who answered said that I was fine and should be able to be in contact with David.

Even though it was safe for me to hold David, I still felt it was better to wear a mask (double masked) around him for a few days. I just wanted to make sure that he didn't get COVID. (I know, I'm playing it REALLY safe, but I don't want to risk anything when it comes to my baby).

So again, just to be safe, I waited another day after I tested negative to hold David (I know, I know, being super cautious). So this morning, I was very sleepy but the thought of being able to hold David again excited me. I was looking forward to feeding, holding, and changing him again (I'm sure I will find these tasks too repetitive soon enough).

David, who didn't really smile much, greeted me with a big smile. But that smile soon turned into a frown as he got hungry. So I used our Brezza Pro Formula machine to quickly made him 140 ML of formula (link to this product: https://amzn.to/3rcg2Kh.).

This Brezza machine saves us the hassle to have to mix formula whenever David is hungry. It is especially helpful during those 3am night feeds. The machine calculates the amount of water and formula ratio and mixes the two quickly for you at a touch of a button. I think it's the greatest invention for new parents.

After David drinks the formula, he then fell asleep to Baby Lullaby Academy's baby sleep music. David has been listening to this since birth. He always manages to fall asleep to this music. Heck, I can even fall asleep to this music because it's so soothing and relaxing.
