My husband got COVID!

As titled, my husband, Marco, got COVID! We were very careful not to go anywhere. However, this weekend, we went for badminton because we thought it was time to get some exercise instead of staying home and being couch potatoes. That was the biggest mistake. We still are not 100% sure where he contracted COVID, since he also did go to work in person as well (so wasn't sure if it was from badminton for sure). Last night Marco had a fever that was 39 degrees and he also had a headache plus hot and cold chills. After tests, we confirmed that he was COVID positive.

I'm feeling so scared because I have a new born son who is just little over 2 months old. I'm not sure what will happen to David if he gets COVID, without having any prior COVID vaccinations. I did, however, have my third vaccine done while being pregnant with David. Even so, I'm not sure how protected he is from the virus. So the quarantine begins. First off, my husband and I both masked up to keep the virus away from David. Then, I went to our bedroom to gather up some of my belongings that I would need while staying in the living room with David. Marco will lock himself up in the bedroom upstairs so he doesn't give the virus to David and I. My mother and two sister-in-laws, brought us some medicine, cooked and frozen food. Our fridge, thanks to them, is completely full with food. We don't need to worry about ordering food somewhere else for the next few days, which is great. We even got some clean and virus free beddings for me to use on the sofa from my mother-in-law. The first day of quarantine has been alright. David has been kind of fussy though. So without my husband taking turns with me changing the diapers and doing the feedings, I'm a lot more tired than usual. The good news is that he doesn't seem to be having symptoms right now. Fingers crossed that all three of us will come out of this healthy. Stay tuned for day 2 tomorrow of our quarantined life!
